SCHOOL VISITS

School health fair - July 2003

East Yorkshire Primary care trust organised a school health fair at Dunswell sports hall last month The aim was to promote healthy living. The team of six experts put a lot of effort into organising this. The children benefited enourmously. The team manager saw this as another opportunity to take learning outside of the classroom.

Kingswood Geography lesson and bowling

When we went around Kingswood we used maps to draw the new buildings and examine the changes in the local environment. Then we went to Hollywood Bowl for a game of bowling and we had our lunch there. We went on the 20th of May 2003.

The Hull Museum

At the Hull Museum we learnt a lot about dinosaurs. It was very good fun and interesting. There was a gift shop that had a lot of neat toys. We went on the 21st of Feb 2003.

The Peter Pan Pantomime

The Peter Pan Pantomime was very funny and entertaining. The actors were very good. We went on the 6th of Dec 2002.

Sutherland lodge

At Sutherland lodge there are a lot of activities such as absailing. It was great fun. We went on the 18th of October 2001.

MAGNA

MAGNA was good fun. It had 4 section: water/fire/ earth/air. There was a great park. It was really super. We went to Rotherham to get to Magna.
